PRINT MEDIA & FORMATTING

I led the design and production of a wide range of print materials across both the original branding and full rebranding of the company. This included creative direction and execution for shopfront signage, branded business cards, staff uniforms such as aprons, and various in-store printed assets. My input shaped the visual consistency of the brand across all customer-facing touch-points, enhancing the overall customer experience and giving the business a more polished, professional presence within the local market.
SOCIAL MEDIA & MARKETING

I created and scheduled engaging social media content to help grow Bake Away’s online presence, drive sales, and connect with local customers. From stylised food photography and custom illustrations to Instagram Stories and seasonal campaign assets, I crafted visuals that were tailored to audience engagement. My work contributed to increasing social reach and fostering a loyal, active customer base, while promoting new product launches and offers.
VISUAL BRANDING

As Creative Designer at Bake Away Norwich, I was responsible for developing the visual identity of the brand across both digital and print formats. This included designing promotional materials such as posters, menus, social media graphics, and packaging that reflected the brand’s personality and seasonal offerings. I worked closely with the business owner to ensure all design work aligned with their brand voice, while introducing cohesive typography, colour palettes, and imagery that enhanced brand recognition in the local market.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL DESIGN

Working in a fast-paced small business environment, I regularly balanced creative tasks with production deadlines and hands-on responsibilities. I designed bespoke product labels and packaging on tight turnarounds, ensuring a consistent look while also meeting food safety and practical packaging standards. I also contributed to customer service and sales operations, gaining direct insight into customer preferences — which helped shape design decisions that truly resonated with the audience.

During my time at Bake Away Norwich, I led the rebranding of the business, helping transition the company’s look and feel into a more modern, cohesive identity while preserving its community-rooted charm. This rebrand included everything from logo refinement and colour system updates to new shopfront detailing, packaging labels, and staff uniform design. 
My goal was to create a unified brand experience that felt both fresh and familiar, balancing visual consistency with personality. The result was a clearer customer-facing presence, stronger recognition both in-store and online, and a visual identity that better reflected the care and creativity behind the product.
